Indeed, Ross has won numerous tournaments, one of which was one with an iconic volleyball legend. In 2007 through 2013, she was teaming with Jennifer Kessy, who is currently her coach. Alongside Kessy Ross, she was a major force in the world circuit, winning an international title in 2009. They were awarded a silver medal at the 2012 Olympic Games held in London. After her sophomore year, she experienced a terrible personal loss but still successful in being named an All-American. The two seasons she spent playing for the Trojans they helped succeed in winning consecutive championships. In her own way, she had established her place as a legend receiving this year's Honda Sports Award as the most outstanding female college volleyball player. Ross was a international relations major at USC. Margie Ross didn't see her daughter climb to the top in the world of beach volleyball. At the time of 2001, while Ross was in her sophomore year on the campus of USC her mother passed away from breast cancer. She holds her mom dear.
