Ky-ManiKy-mani Marley, who is close to completing his untitled third album, is certainly a major star. Ky-mani was born February 26, 1976 to Robert Nesta Marley, a legendary Jamaican T.A. One Love starred Ky-mani as Kassa. The compelling story of an empathetic Reggae artist struggling with the corruption within the music industry. The world of Kassa is changed when he meets a beautiful girl at a church in the area with beautiful voice. Amongst film festivals and critics the film has been hailed as another masterwork of the Ky-Mani Marley collection. The film is not yet made available in cinemas. Also, Ky-Mani recently released her feature film Haven with Bill Paxton and Orlando Bloom with the direction of Frank Flowers. Haven was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival. The actor is also set to reprise his lead role on Shottas II that will begin production in 2004.He was barely five years old when his father died and Ky-mani's voice takes you back to a familiar location. He will transport you to the next generation from the time of the reggae explosion, his message remains the same "one passion, one dream One goal, one destiny".Able tennis champion Anita Belnavis, in Falmouth, Jamaica. It is believed that the East African word Ky-mani means "adventurous traveler" every album, or tour that he takes is an adventure. His journey into music started in 1999, with The Journey. He was an eclectic artist that was looking for his own musical niche. 2001 was the year that Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated) A "traditional" reggae compilation was made available, showing a more mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads, as along with The Journey, were greatly received by the fans all over the world and established Ky-Mani in her identity as an individual "artist". Ky-Mani's style is a mix of roots reggae , interspersed with hip-hop, R&B and contemporary jazz.
